Clinical seminars in the summer semester 2024

The final series of clinical seminars in the framework of our RTG took place between May and June 2024. These consisted of six appointments at UHH and UKE in total, which were dedicated to the diagnosis of PTSD, psychosis and anxiety/OCD.

The seminars were led by therapists and researchers of the Psychotherapy Outpatient Clinic of the Institute of Psychology and the Department of Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience of the UHH, as well as the UKE. Each appointment consisted of the theoretical introduction of the respective diagnosis, which was then followed by a meeting with a patient during which the participants had a chance to ask questions related to their research. The seminars allowed the RTG members to further understand the role of learning and memory processes in the development and retention of the respective diagnosis, thus providing valuable insights for their ongoing projects.
