Postdoc Symposium 

On 1st of April 2026, the RTG held its first Postdoc Symposium: an event designed to bring postdocs and PhD students closer together, and to give postdocs a dedicated space to present their research and expertise to the entire RTG group.

Postdocs play a important role in the RTG, yet their work and methodological knowledge are not always fully visible to PhD students and vice versa. By giving postdocs a platform to present their work, the event aimed to open up new possibilities for collaboration, mentorship, and mutual support across both cohorts.

Dr. Maren Klingelhöfer-Jens (1st cohort), Dr. Anne Bierbrauer (2nd cohort), and Dr. Felix Klaassen (2nd cohort) each gave a short talk covering their current research and methodological expertise, as well as potential areas for further involvement with the PhD students of the RTG.

The event was followed by an informal get-together with snacks and drinks, offering a chance to continue the conversations in a more relaxed setting.
