Highlights from the Qualification programme of the RTG 2022
Autumn and early winter 2022 have been busy months for our RTG with a number of events in the framework of the Qualification programme that already took place.
After the first two lectures during the Kick-off meeting on the 5th of October by Jan Haaker and Tania Lincoln our Lecture Series “Emotional learning and memory in health and disease” continued with further talks. On the 2nd of November our students as well as members of the wider scientific community in the field had the pleasure to join the online talk by Dr. Mara Mather from the University of California under the title “How affective/autonomic arousal increases neural gain and attentional selectivity”.
The last talk for 2022 was held on the 7th of December by Dr. Nina Rouhani from Caltech under the headline "Prediction errors shape the content and structure of episodic memory".
Other events in the framework of our Qualification programme this year included a seminar on “Good Scientific Practice” by Helga Nolte, the head of the Ombuds Office of the Universität Hamburg, as well as a beginner-level Matlab course offered by Dr. Hame Park from the UKE in the framework of our Methods Academy.
We thank our speakers and instructors and are excited about all that our Qualification programme has to offer in 2023!
